Maths faculty

The faculty mission statement: Providing a quality mathematics education to develop young men to think mathematically, to be effectively numerate and to reach their potential in external assessment.

Mathematics is an area of thought relevant to everybody in everyday life. At Farrer we strive to allow students to see the relevance of the applied mathematics they do in the courses provided as well as allowing those students who aim to lift their mathematical thinking to a higher, more theoretical level to achieve their goals.
