On the evening of the last 'official' day for Year 12-2018 the boys were joined by their partners and families for a farewell dinner dance at West League Club. This event is a less formal affair than the assembly (held in the morning) with the boys enjoying themselves mingling with their mates, posing for the Happy Booth photos and generally letting loose on the dance floor.
One of our Farrer traditions is that each Year 12 student is presented with a personally engraved pewter funded by the Farrer PT&F. Other traditions are the mother and son dance and the cutting of the graduation cake. This year the guests were entertained by the same band as last year, Hurricane Fall.
Thanks to year coordinator Sarah Allen, departing parents Brad & Leann Size, Mrs Kylie Clinch, School Captains and Mr Clint Gallagher for their speeches which added to the good-humoured atmosphere of the evening.
