Student In The Spotlight - Leon Hystek

Farrer student Leon Hystek has pursued his passion for mountain biking since receiving his first bike 4 years ago.

Leon has received great success recently. During January, Leon travelled to Wollongong and gained 6th place at the AusCycling Gravity Enduro National Championships at GreenValleys Mountain Bike Park. Leon then travelled to Mt Stromlo in Canberra at the end of February to take part in Round 2 of the Rocky Trail Entertainment Fox Superflow Series where he rode his way to victory in the under 17s men's division. AND.. finally, it is of no surprise that Leon currently holds the track record for the fastest lap at Farrer!!

Leon is headed to Round 1 of the Gravity Enduro State Series in Orange this weekend. We wish him the very best of luck!!
