Mother's Day at Farrer
Not all our boys were able to spend Mother’s Day at home. That didn’t stop them thinking of the important women in their lives as they spent the morning preparing something special for next time they see them.
Dubbo Prime Lamb Competition
Students James O’Brien, Jack Rees, Hayden Benson, Archie Crowe, Harrison Hine and Drew O’Connor represented Farrer at this year’s Dubbo Prime Lamb Hoof & Hook Competition and gained success.
Great Nundle Dog Race
Last Sunday a group of boys volunteered their time to support Nundle Public School at the ‘Great Nundle Dog Race’.
Yamba Fishing Trip
It was a bad day to be a fish in Yamba last weekend. The rain and wind didn’t stop our boys from having an epic time on the water Saturday morning.
Farrer at Greater Western Rugby
A group of Farrer students participated in the Greater Western Rugby League Trials in Coonabarabran on Friday, May 3rd. The students who attended were Ted Haire, Preston Latham, Ollie Sawyer, Darcy Weatherall, Lance Latham, Luke Jeffreys, Dustin Wyrzykowski, Harrison Thrift, Leif Deitrich, Lachlan Hawkins, and Jordan Hamlin.
Community Spirit at Farrer - Rotary Park
Last Saturday, Farrer General Assistant Brad Hoad brought a group of senior Farrer boys to help assemble the second backboard on the Rotary Calala Park half basketball court.

Farrer took part in ANZAC Day marches around the state this year to great community feedback. Farrer takes pride in its marching each year and we were delighted to see wonderful community engagement.

Farrer students gathered for one final marching practice followed by an assembly for ANZAC Day this morning. This year's theme Remembering Indigenous Service was presented by Zak Power, Rex Barwick and Tom Gwalter with Jack Herden on the bugle performing The Last Post.

Farrer’s First VII Water Polo team travelled to Newcastle on Wednesday and Thursday 4/5 April to contest the Water Polo State Knockout.
